Easterns 2012

Jojah went 2-4 on the weekend.

While the results from this weekend were disappointing, Georgia competed at a very high level and was never out of any game that they played.

On Saturday Jojah jumped all over Penn State (15-10) and proceeded to lose two games by a combined 3 points against Michigan (13-11) and Stanford (13-12).

Sunday the team came out flat in the prequarters against Illinois and dropped the first half 8-5. They came out in the second half throwing bombs and closed the gap to get Georgia to within one point. Unfortunately they were unable to capture the lead and Illinois pulled out the win and dashed Jojah's championship hopes 15-12.

The team went on to play with looser lines against an out matched Virginia squad and won their second game of the tournament 14-10.

Georgia played a game against Michigan that was weird from the beginning with more uncharacteristic turnovers that plagued the squad late in the previous day's meeting and then a lightening delay. After the break for inclement weather, the team dropped the first half and game out dropping bombs and the offense played defense and got back some of the breaks they had given up previously. Unfortunately the game was capped and Jojah dropped another 13-10.
